Leftwoodpictures Presents....

A feature Documentary Film

928 The Threat Continues

This is the story of deadly nuclear contamination from atomic testing at the Nevada Test site told through interviews with cancer victims, contamination experts and archival video clips of AEC officials and scientists of the time. It reveals devious attempts to restart nuclear weapons testing by the weapons industry, government insiders and Donald Trump while president. The film promotes citizen actions to help ensure nuclear testing never happens again!

Filmmaker’s Note

We’re the filmmakers – Steve Jarvis and Kate Fosselman.

After a number of years of producing TV commercials we decided it was time for a change - fast food and Barbie commercials just didn’t cut it!

We thought, let’s try making a positive difference in the world with film.

So, we started looking for a good subject for a feature documentary.
“The Women In The Sand”, now available on Amazon Prime was it! It’s the revealing Death Valley story of two feisty Timbisha Shoshone elders and their efforts to save their culture. The film started us off on the right foot by winning awards at three important film festivals, getting us a screening in Washington DC with the Natural Resources Committee and landing us on a major streaming site.

Our newest documentary, “928 The Threat Continues...” delivers a heightened level of awareness and urgency to the continuing threat of deadly nuclear fallout across the country, today! It is a major call to action, here and around the world.

Become a member of the Production Team.

We need your help.

We as filmmakers are all in on this project with thousands of dollars of our own money spent toward bringing 70 minutes of explosive exposé to the screen. The film is in the can and the rough cut editing is complete. But, the most expensive part of post-production lies ahead in the tech heavy finishing of the film – color correction, online editing, image compositing, narration, audio recording and mixing, music and much more.

We are trying to raise more than $60,000. That’s a lot to ask for!

We are in financial discussions with numerous corporations, non-profit foundations, and social action organizations, but we need your help the most! With your financial contribution and your word-of-mouth and social media support, we’ll actually get there!!

You get stuff!

$25 – Gets you a personal email thank you with project updates and inside information.

$50 – Gets you the above and a frameable mini movie poster signed by the filmmakers

$100 – Gets you’re name listed in the on-screen credits as a supporter! Plus, all the above

items and a copy of a US map of radiation fallout locations like the one

shown in the film.

$250 and up - Gets you’re name listed in the on-screen credits as a sponsor! Plus, all

the above, a full size movie poster signed by the filmmakers and a DVD of the finished film.

Ahh, but the risks.

Well, what if we don’t get enough money to finish the film? Then what?

First, we will not let that happen! It’s too important a story not to be seen. We will double our efforts with organizations and individuals who are already beginning to step up to the plate Second, if necessary, we’ll delay the release a little, dig deeper into our own pockets, sell cupcakes...whatever! Besides, we’ve been here before and succeeded!

We still have faith in the people of this country. When a project is truly worthy, they support it.

The power of the message in this film is too great to be ignored.
