Meet the Film Makers

Steve Jarvis
Director/Writer/Producer
Steve is a DGA film director with a professional background directing national TV commercials, documentary films and web videos. His first documentary experience was directing a short film, “Roy’s Market” which was honored with a special screening at the Chicago Art Institute. Later, he directed an independent TV pilot/documentary, “Wine Geeks in Paradise”. In 2012, his passion for exploring and protecting the California desert and its history led him to direct his first feature documentary film, The Women in the Sand, completed in 2017, which won an Award of Merit at the 2017 Accolade Global Film Competition and two Awards of Merit at the 2017 Impact Docs Awards. Working with directing partner Kate Fosselman Steve has
written, directed and co-produced the feature documentary, “928 The Threat Continues...” Currently, Steve is working in post-production on the next film that he wrote and directed, “Every Year in May”.

Kate Fosselman
Director/Editor/Producer
Kate has worked in the advertising agency business as a print and television Creative Director and Art Director for several top Los Angeles agencies including Dentsu/Y&R, Benton & Bowles and Daily and Associates. Working with directing partner Steve Jarvis, Kate directed, edited, and co-produced the feature documentary, 928 The Threat Continues..., In 2017, working with Director Steve Jarvis, Kate edited, art directed and co-produced the award winning feature
documentary film, The Women in the Sand. In her career she has worked as a producer, film editor and art director on numerous TV commercials, promotional
videos and short Internet documentaries.

Bob Goodman
Producer
Veteran producer Robert H. “Bob” Goodman Bob was a producer for the 2017 award-winning feature documentary, “The Women in the Sand” for Leftwood Pictures. He is currently a producer for two feature documentaries for Leftwood Pictures, “Every Year in May”, and “928 The Threat Continues...” Goodman is the founder of Bob Goodman Productions. Prior to founding his own company, he was a senior TV packaging agent at the fabled William Morris Agency.928 The Threat Continues...Feature Documentary Film LLC Goodman has served as a producer on a number of theatrical motion pictures, TV, direct to videos, recordings, theatrical productions and other media including CD & DVD Rom productions. In his first year, he
produced and/or packaged two TV pilots starring Mack & Jamie for Group W (Westinghouse,) a game show series, Anything For Money, and executive produced the motion picture, Door To Door starring Ron Leibman, Jane Kaczmarek and Arliss Howard. He then set up Space Camp at MGM, which was subsequently funded by ABC Theatrical Films for release by Fox. He worked with Don Barrett on a number of critically acclaimed projects with Patrick Stewart serving as host/narrator (Patrick Stewart narrates The Planets-BMG/Sony, From Here To Infinity-Paramount, and Nine Worlds-2 productions-Palladium.
